Two Pallava hands are to be moved above the head. It is remembered as Lalita.
Lalita—two [Ala]-pallava (Alapadmaka) hands to be moved above the head.
The Pallava hands reaching the head are called Lalita.

When two Allapallava hastas are crossed near the head, then it is Lalita hasta.
This hasta is used to denote sala tree, fort and mountain.
Lalita: When the hands move upwards to the head with pallava hasta, it is lalita.
The same hastas as above when held at the head, become lalita hasta. Other scholars (other than Bharata) say the tips of kaṭakāmukha hastas must touch the head.
Two pallava hands got to the region of the head are said to be lālita.
According to the experts in hand-gestures for dance, valita becomes lālita when the hands are placed on the head. Others again say that khatakamukha hands, placed on the head facing and touching each other, is known as lālita.
