I loved this temple. There's nothing ornate about it, and I'm not sure how historic it is. But as a place to worship, it was lovely. The space is rather cave like, with the god in his room, and a small priestly anteroom to the left of him. The priests are very attentive and active, and there was singing. I love temples with live music, and in this one, several of the worshippers sat down and joined in.
After we stayed for a bit, Amma found out that the temple serves food to worshippers at lunch, and it was almost lunch. So we stayed for a wonderful lunch overlooking the river
Unfortunately, I hardly took any pictures of this temple. But I found a wonderful video here that goes inside the sanctum.
